The successful annual event is this year sponsored by Bell and rotates each year between other sponsors including Airbus, Leonardo Helicopters, Boeing and Sikorsky.
Each of the winning teams from various categories is awarded a cash stipend (a total of USD12,500 is up for grabs), while each of the first-place winning teams are invited to the VFS Annual Forum and Technology Display to present the details of their designs.
