UVA-developer, Electronic Visionary Architects, claims to have launched the world’s largest drone control, landing, take-off and charging station. The “Vertical Station” allows up to 24 drones to land, deliver their payload, charge or exchange batteries and re-launch from the platforms.
The Vertical Station is equipped with full ground control capabilities and managed via a 55 inches touch screen. Energy supplies are provided through a grid connection, UPS or fuel cells.
The station has been designed to be transportable to anywhere in order to guarantee a high level of flexibility.
The station made its debut during Lisbon’s Web Summit2019.
