Israel invites manufacturers to trial eVTOL services between Eilat airport and city centre

As part of the Israel National Drone Initiative led by the Israel Innovation Authority, Ayalon Highways Ltd, Israel Civil Aviation Authority and The Israel Ministry of Transportation, the State of Israel says it will “open its skies to create the first electric route from the international Eilat – Ramon Airport to the city of Eilat (Circa 24 km) for drones, eVTOLS (Cargo and passengers).”

Innovation Israel says in a post “We are pleased to formally invite you and your company to compete at the ‘Big Quest’ marking 120 years to the Wright Brothers’ first successful heavier than the air flight.

“Moving towards the future with electric, quiet, environmentally friendly aircrafts, we would like to extend an offer for you to join one of the largest demonstration combining multiple UAVs from different companies in a single areal space, providing you with the ability to be part of a new, disruptive, global transportation services’ model.

“The ‘Big Quest’ will take place on December 3rd – 7th, 2023 in Israel.  Apply to participate in the “Big Quest” here, no later than October 16th, 2023.”
