In a social media announcement Volocopter has reported that it has “officially kicked-off its Japan flight test campaign with eVTOL flight tests above Osaka Bay.
“Together with NEDO, Japan’s largest research and development organisation, we conducted a behavioural flight, testing both ground and air procedures to acclimate our flight crew and supporting staff to EXPO 2025 conditions.”
The company says the next public flight will be in Osaka on 13 December.
