“Planning permission granted for eVTOL vertiport at FMCI complex at Shannon airport”

In a Linkedin post, O’Neill O’Malley Architecture of Galway in Ireland reports that it has “received Full Planning Permission for a cutting-edge eVTOL/eCTOL Verti-Port Facility at Shannon Airport Campus.”

“This project represents a major step toward the future of sustainable air mobility, building on the robust infrastructure developed by Future Mobility Campus Ireland (FMCI) and The Shannon Airport Group,” said the company in the post.

In June this year FMCI published its roadmap Skyward Bound: Advanced Aerial Mobility in Ireland on the introduction of advanced air mobility services in Ireland.
