ERC System reports it has conducted a test flight of its 2.7-tonne prototype eVTOL Romeo.
The Munich-based company, part of the IABG group, reports the aircraft completed its first public demonstration on February 6 at the Erding military airfield near Munich. Romeo has been designed for both VTOL with CTOL capabilities, and features eight vertical propellers and two horizontal propellers for lift and cruise, a 5.2 m³ cabin space, with a payload capacity of more than 500 kg and wingspan of 15.2 m.
The first public flight was without a pilot on board
