Cligent Aerospace reports in a Linkedin post that it has become one of the first advanced air mobility (AAM) aircraft developers in India private company in India to test a proprietary Hybrid-electric powertrain on a scaled aviation model.
“This test programme went beyond nominal performance, covering critical failure and contingency scenarios, validating propulsion response, control stability, system resilience, and safety logic under simulated degraded conditions,” said the company. “This achievement marks a crucial step toward our Electric Short Take-Off and Landing (eSTOL) aircraft designed to carry up to one ton of cargo or nine passengers.
“Engineered for true low-infrastructure operations, our platform targets deployment from cricket ground-sized spaces, requiring approximately 50–100 meters for take-off and landing,” said Cligent.
