LYNEports, USF partner to advance eVTOL route planning and advanced air mobility research

LYNEports and the University of South Florida (USF)  have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on advancing research, innovation, and education in advanced air mobility. “This collaboration brings together LYNEports’ AI driven digital planning platform and industry expertise with USF’s academic leadership and research capabilities in transportation and emerging mobility systems,” said LYNEports in a press release. “The partnership establishes a framework to jointly explore research, pilot initiatives, and funding opportunities that support the safe and scalable integration of advanced air mobility.

“The collaboration will focus on areas such as network design, regulatory alignment, infrastructure readiness, and operational strategy for emerging aerial mobility systems. LYNEports contributes its digital infrastructure intelligence platform, which translates complex aviation regulations and operational constraints into spatial and data driven decision tools for cities, developers, and industry stakeholders. The platform supports early stage planning, scenario modeling, and evaluation of advanced air mobility infrastructure in alignment with regulatory and urban development frameworks.

“USF brings faculty leadership, research capacity, and a strong foundation in transportation innovation. The collaboration will enable joint case studies, academic publications, and engagement with public agencies and industry partners. It will also create opportunities for student learning through workshops, applied research, and exposure to real world tools and projects. The partnership is intended to support joint proposals and grant applications, strengthen engagement with cities and stakeholders, and advance knowledge in areas critical to the future of mobility.”
