Chinese eVTOL manufacturer AutoFlight has launched AF Care+, “a first-of-its-kind all-in-one protection programme for operators of its eVTOL aircraft,” said the company in a Linkedin post.
“The programme is built on an initial arrangement with PICC (People’s Insurance Company of China), covering ten CarryAll eVTOL aircraft with insurance for product quality, airframe damage and third-party liability,” said the company. “AutoFlight has used that foundation to create something broader: a single package that gives operators everything they need to run commercially, without the usual headaches.
AF Care+ covers four areas: aircraft protection – covers accidental damage and total loss; liability cover – third-party protection that meets commercial operating requirements; product support – manufacturer backing integrated directly into operations. operational services – engineering support, flight assistance, maintenance and crew training
