The French eVTOL developer Ascendance has signed two agreements in Malaysia this month, one with Pen Aviation to integrate the STERNA Hybrid Pack into UAVs, explore the sales and local distribution of ATEA and study vertiport-to-vertiport use cases and the second with Aerospace City Development (PAC), to evaluate opportunities for a hybrid propulsion competence centre, local co-production, demonstration flights, and broader collaboration within Malaysia’s growing aerospace ecosystem.
