Beta Technologies has announced on Linkedin that the company will be producing and certifying an electric fixed-wing airplane alongside its Alia 250 eVTOL. “Federal Aviation Administration test pilots recently performed a qualitative evaluation of the airplane,” said the company. “We’re also gratified to have orders for this new aircraft from our partners at Bristow Group, United Therapeutics Corporation, and Air New Zealand.”
The CX-300 is described as an all-electric airport-to-airport aircraft.
