China’s ARIDGE has posted on X the news that its new factory has produced its first aircraft.
According to the post:
“The completion of our first trial aircraft validates the world’s first modern flying car production line. By integrating automotive and aviation technologies, we’ve achieved new levels of efficiency and quality. The factory spans 120,000 m², equipped with a modern intelligent assembly line with five specialized workshops. It is designed for an annual production capacity of up to 10,000 units, ensuring capability of mass delivery in the future.”
The company has amassed orders for over 7,000 units, including 600 from customers in the Middle East.
The company received its production certificate from the CAAC in May this year.
