
Austrian personal eVTOL developer FlyNow has announced in an X post that it has signed a agreement with Dubai-based helicopter operator Mavi Air for 100 eCopter eVTOLs.
According to a FlyNow Linkedin post
“At FlyNow Aviation, we are proud to announce the signing of a EUR35 million agreement for 100 FlyNow eCopters with Mavi Air Helicopter Trading LLC Alex S., company specializing in developing the infrastructure and vertiport networks needed to make urban air mobility a reality across the UAE. By combining Mavi Air’s infrastructure expertise with FlyNow’s next-generation technology, we are laying the foundation for a connected, low-emission, and future-ready mobility ecosystem
According to the company’s website FlyNow Aviation’s eCopter. “are designed to solve the growing issues of urban congestion and environmental degradation by offering an on-demand, fast, and efficient mode of transport. FlyNow’s eCopters come with several advantages, including production costs up to 10 times lower than competing technologies, unparalleled energy efficiency with longer flight times and greater range, and minimal noise emissions, ensuring a seamless passenger experience and positive social reception.”
