Jetson completes eVTOL flight tests with the Polish Mountain Rescue Team

Jetson has shared the initial results of its eVTOL mountain rescue operations trials in a Linkedin post.

“Jetson was invited by the GOPR Górskie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe Polish Mountain Rescue Team to test two of our production eVTOLs in a real-world mountain emergency response scenario,” said the company. “Our team travelled to Poland, where we successfully executed multiple mission simulations—flying to various destinations, including Mt. Lubań (1,211 m / 3,973 ft MSL). Jetson ONE reached the summit in under four minutes, showcasing its performance and ability to access remote locations rapidly.”

During the event, gusty winds peaked at 16 m/s (36 mph or 31 KTS)—conditions that challenge most (ultra)light helicopters, said Jetson.

“Jetson accelerates the arrival of the so-called “rescue vanguard”—the first responder who provides aid before the transport team arrives. Real-life, practical use cases like this align with Jetson’s mission to redefine the future of mobility, enabling our vehicles to serve a wide range of missions—including saving lives.”

The company has also released on its Linkedin page a full-length video “of the world’s first Jetson Race which also happens to be the world’s first eVTOL race!”
