Singapore’s JC Aviation plans purchase of 260 AutoFlight eVTOLs

AutoFlight has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JC Aviation – a Singapore based company specialising in fixed-wing and helicopter sales, charter operations, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), training, and private aviation fixed-base operator (FBO) and ground-handling services – covering the planned procurement of 260 AutoFlight eVTOL aircraft and 10 SUNSHIP platforms.

Under the agreement, JC Aviation intends to procure a mix of V2000CG CarryAll cargo eVTOLs, V2000CGF CarryAll firefighting eVTOLs and V2000EM Prosperity passenger eVTOLs between 2026 and 2031. The agreement also covers 10 SUNSHIP water-based eVTOL platforms planned for delivery between 2026 and 2029, according to a company press release.

“The initial cooperation will focus on India and Brazil, with potential expansion into Central and Latin America,” says AutoFlight. “The MoU includes an initial confirmed commitment for ordering two V2000CG CarryAll and one SUNSHIP with the broader procurement to be finalized through subsequent purchase agreements. The two companies will also collaborate on certification, fleet development, pilot and maintenance training, and local operational and support capabilities to enable the deployment of AutoFlight eVTOL in target markets.”

“This MoU is an important step in our effort to develop practical advanced air mobility capabilities in our target markets,” said Mickey Commar and Prabhjot “PJ” Commar, Co-Founders of JC Aviation. “AutoFlight’s portfolio spans passenger mobility, cargo logistics and aerial firefighting, giving us a platform to explore applications tailored to local operating needs. Our focus now is on working together on certification, training and support infrastructure, while progressing the initial aircraft commitments and evaluating the wider opportunity in India, Brazil and other markets.”
