Software company RAMCO links with Indian eVTOL developer EPlane

Global aviation software company Ramco Systems has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies Private Limited.), developer of the ePlane e200X. The MOU sets the foundation for ePlane to leverage Ramco Aviation Software for the full lifecycle management of its e200X air taxi, air ambulance and air cargo fleet.

“As the e200X progresses through certification and regulatory approvals, Ramco and ePlane will work together to implement Ramco Aviation Software in phases, aligned with the e200X’s journey toward manufacturing and commercial service,” said the companies. “This strategic partnership will enable ePlane to build a robust digital foundation that scales with its operational growth.

“Under the MOU, ePlane will have access to Ramco Aviation Software’s comprehensive suite of modules, which may be leveraged during the lifecycle of e200X. These include capabilities for Engineering & CAMO, Maintenance, Supply Chain, MRO & Part Sales, Flight Operations, Safety, Quality and Compliance, Manufacturing, Employee Management and Finance & Accounting.

Prof. Satya Chakravarthy, Founder, The ePlane Company, said, “Developing India’s first flying electric taxi demands not only engineering excellence but also a technology partner who understands the nuances of the aviation industry. Ramco Systems’ platform equips us to manage complexity across engineering, operations, and compliance, while remaining agile and future-ready. This MOU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership that will help us stay ahead of the curve as we move toward manufacturing and commercial readiness.”
