Sonaca has announced that it has become a strategic supplier to autonomous eVTOL aircraft developer Wisk Aero. Sonaca says it will develop and supply major components for Wisk’s sixth Generation autonomous air taxi and that for itself this is a major step forward in its diversification strategy.
“Sonaca will develop and produce major primary structural assemblies of Wisk’s Gen 6 aircraft” according to the press release. “Sonaca also previously supported the design phase of these components. Sonaca will rely on its global footprint to manufacture and supply parts leveraging its best-in-class facilities from Belgium, Brazil, Romania and the United States.”
