China’s eVTOL developer AutoFlight reports demonstration flights of the company’s eVTOls will take place later this year Alatau and Astana, Kazakhstan. A delegation from Kazakhstan’s Aviation Administration and Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd. (AAAG) visited AutoFlight’s facilities in Kunshan from March 31 to April 1.
“Kazakhstan is a natural gateway for eVTOL into Central Asia, and this visit marks a meaningful step in AutoFlight’s regional expansion, working with local civil aviation authorities and AAAG to develop deployment models suited to Kazakhstan’s regulatory environment and market,” said the company in a Linkedin post.
“At our Bailian Lake Flight Test Base, the delegation observed simultaneous flight demonstrations of both the V2000CG CarryAll (cargo) and V2000CGF (firefighting aircraft), witnessing key flight phases including vertical take-off, forward transition, horizontal cruise, reverse transition and vertical landing. At the Kunshan R&D and Manufacturing Centre, discussions covered AutoFlight’s technology roadmap, international certification standards, and real-world eVTOL applications across aerial logistics, emergency response and advanced air mobility.”
