CIVITAS and UIC2 have announced on social media that UIC2 is joining the “CIVITAS family”.
CIVITAS describes itself as one of the flagship programmes helping the European Commission achieve its ambitious mobility and transport goals, by acting as a network of cities, for cities, dedicated to sustainable urban mobility. Through peer exchange, networking and training, CIVITAS says it fosters political commitment and boosts collective expertise, equipping cities to put mobility at the centre of decarbonisation.
“We are delighted to welcome the Urban-Air-Mobility Initiative Cities Community (UIC2) to the CIVITAS family!” announced the CIVITAS LinkedIn post and Vassilis Agouridas posted “UIC2 is happy to join the CIVITAS family and bring additional value towards integrated, sustainable and responsible urban mobility innovation and future services!”
