BEAT Aviation, a new company which aims to develop new, more environmentally responsible regional air mobility networks (RAM) around the world, has announced the launch of its inaugural educational offering: Foundations in Regional Air Mobility Online taking place from 1630 to 1800 GMT on November 25th, 2025. Hosted by BEAT’s founder Jeremy “Jam” Hartley, this 1.5-hour session will explores how RAM is reshaping short-range flight through a values-driven approach that prioritizes sustainability, equity, and community-first design. This session is a taster to the full day in-person workshops that will become available in early 2026.
“The future of aviation will be shaped not by innovation alone, but by a collaborative effort to build a sustainable and inclusive industry,” said Jam Hartley.
The online session offers an introduction to RAM’s role within the Advanced Air Mobility ecosystem, including the infrastructure and regulatory frameworks that support it and the career pathways emerging in this fast-growing sector. Participants will explore the social, environmental, and economic drivers accelerating RAM adoption, from breakthroughs in electric, hybrid-electric, and hydrogen propulsion to the untapped potential of regional airports and the growing demand for alternatives to congested roads and hubs. Whether you’re a student, urban planner, policymaker, organisation, or curious citizen, this primer is designed give you a quick introduction to the next chapter in regional air transport.
This workshop also marks the beginning of BEAT Aviation’s broader mission: to operate within community-first RAM networks across the UK and globally.
“As BEAT forges partnerships with other key players within the ecosystem it will strengthen these collaborations by implementing values-aligned legal frameworks and advancing a culture of safety and professional pride,” said the company in a press release. “This includes promoting equity through inclusive training and mentorship. From an operational standpoint, BEAT will remain aircraft agnostic and as zero-emission aircraft become certified and commercially viable, they will deploy them across regional routes, prioritizing underserved areas and ensuring that every operational decision aligns with long-term climate commitments and public trust.”
The Future of Flight event will take place at 1630 GMT on November 25th, 2025.General admission for this online primer is priced at UKP25.00, with a discounted student rate of UKP10.00.
