Maeve Aerospace’s partnership with Air Napier was officially announced during Maeve’s annual public unveiling of the new design for their all-electric aircraft Maeve 01 last April and the company has now announced that 35 aircraft have been reserved by Air Napier.
Air Napier’s CEO Shah Aslam said “As we see, right now in New Zealand there are a lot of opportunities in aviation, because most regions have limited or no air connectivity at all. This is where Maeve potentially comes into play, as Maeve 01 seems to be the perfect combination of range and capacity.”
Maeve’s co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Joost Dieben, on the new partnership with Air Napier said: “With this reservation Air Napier has positioned itself in the unique position as first airline to offer passengers a sustainable alternative before the end of this decade.”
