Skyports, an urban air mobility company that designs, builds, and operates vertiports to provide safe and efficient air taxi services for urban populations, is currently expanding its operations in the UAE and is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a vertiport development project.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development of Skyports’ vertiport project in Dubai, from planning and design to construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and preferably experience in aviation or transportation-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans and timelines, ensuring project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
- Coordinate with the design and engineering team to ensure that all design and construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement of materials and equipment.
- Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in a timely and effective manner.
- Lead regular project meetings, provide progress updates, and ensure effective communication between project team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor and report project progress to senior management, identifying any potential issues or delays and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage project finances, including forecasting and tracking project expenses, and ensuring that costs are managed within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success.
