Chinese media outlets report CALC Intelligent Manufacturing (Shenzhen) and EHang signed a cooperative agreement at the 2025 International Low-Altitude Economic and Trade Expo in Guangzhou, with Li Weifu, Chairman of CALC Intelligent Manufacturing, and Wang Zhao, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EHang Intelligence, attending the event.
The Weixin news site reports: “CALC Intelligent Manufacturing has core competitiveness, backed by a team of top aerospace experts, transforming high-reliability technology into full-cycle service capabilities covering agriculture, forestry plant protection, emergency rescue and other scenarios, and has become an important support for low-altitude scenario operation with the “product + service + data” model… CALC Intelligent Manufacturing plans to cooperate with EHang in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles in resource sharing, collaborative innovation, key project research, high-end talent training and other related directions, and jointly promote the commercial layout of the low-altitude economy.
“Starting from the investment and scenario layout of unmanned manned aircraft, the improvement of large-scale operation infrastructure, and the construction of talent training standard system, we will gradually promote the low-altitude economy from “pilot operation” to “large-scale popularization”, and provide a replicable and generalizable cooperation paradigm for the development of the entire industry.”
