According to a Linkedin post from Giovanni Riccardi, Air Traffic Management and U-space researcher at ENAV, real-time simulation validations of Solution 4 of the SESAR Joint Undertaking EUREKA SESAR3 Fast Track project are currently taking place at the Pianabella vertiport.
“Solution 4 addresses vertiport network flow, capacity and operational management, enabling efficient coordination of innovative air mobility (IAM) operations across a vertiport network,” said the post. “The ongoing real-time simulations are validating the interoperability between the Vertiport Network Manager, the Common Information Service Provider (CISP) and USSPs, within a U-space airspace context. Tomorrow, the Pianabella vertiport will host an Open Day, featuring a live trial where the solution will be demonstrated in real operational conditions in controlled environment.”
