In a Linkedin post Leo Flight has reported its Solo JetBike — an all-electric, propeller-free personal air speeder – is now available for pre-orders.
The personal aircraft features: propeller-free electric jet propulsion; a compact 6.5 × 6.5 ft footprint; roll-hoop safety frame; home charging capability; and stable, low-altitude (~15 ft) flight (electronically limited). It flies at around 60 mph, has a flight time of 10–15 minutes, a noise signature of ≈ 80 dB and powered by a solid-state battery. The aircraft is certified to FAA Part 103, so no licence is required, says the company.
