EHang reports its EH216-S has successfully completed the first people-carrying pilotless eVTOL flights in Mexico and across Latin America.
“Conducted at the FAMEX Tulum Air Show 2026, these landmark flights demonstrate the readiness of safe, sustainable and intelligent air mobility solutions in real-world airport environments,” said the company in an X post.
Victoria Xiang, EHang Chief Operating Officer for Europe and Latin America, said: “This milestone is a further step toward the certification and commercialization of the EH216-S in Mexico and represents a leap forward in EHang’s global expansion.”
From aerial tourism in Tulum to airport-to-city shuttle services, Mexico is fast emerging as a key market for next-generation mobility, said the company.
