Detroit-based eVTOL manufacturer ASX has announced on Twitter that its Sigma-Six modular air utility vehicle has been evaluated by the US Air Force’s Agility Prime team “and found both the company and solution to be adequate and of merit. As a result, ASX has been approved to move onto Phase III of the ICO process.”
Sigma-Six has been designed for quick-release swappable payloads, to carry cargo or passengers, with the payload carriage integrated with a battery. The company is planning to produce 100 revenue-generating aircraft by 2025
