Future Flight Global (FFG) today announced the signing of a deposit-backed, binding aircraft term sheet with BETA Technologies which includes 10 firm orders plus 10 options of BETA’s all-electric ALIA conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) aircraft. FFG intends to deploy these aircraft in support of its regional mobility operations.
Aboard BETA’s ALIA CTOL aircraft, Karan Singh, founder and chief executive officer of Future Flight Global, and Kyle Clark, founder and chief executive officer of BETA Technologies, finalized the agreement in flight.
“This deal goes far beyond an aircraft transaction – it is a true partnership between two companies that inherently believe in and are deeply committed to the future of electric aviation,” said Singh. “FFG intends to build on this foundation immediately and will be announcing the planned deployment of these revolutionary aircraft very soon. Of course, signing aboard the ALIA while flying with Kyle was a moment I’ll always cherish as a pilot.”
The ALIA CTOL is designed to use existing airport infrastructure, offering a pathway for electric aircraft to serve regional routes and other missions without requiring vertical takeoff and landing infrastructure. BETA’s aircraft family is designed to support a range of applications, including passenger transportation, cargo and medical logistics, according to BETA.
