Israel’s Urban Aeronautics (developer of CityHawk eVTOL) on June 19, 2026, filed patent infringement cases against Archer Aviation, Joby Aviation and Wisk Aero (Boeing).
All three suits were filed in US District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging patent infringement of Urban Aeronautics’ fly-by-wire flight control system based on four independent control networks so that if anyone of these fails, the eVTOL aircraft flies safely in keeps flying safely in a degraded state.
