MD Aircraft has announced in a Linkedin post the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with South Korea’s Solyu for an initial commitment for 20 MDA1 eViator™ all-electric regional aircraft, with an option for 20 others.

Solyu’s interest in purchasing up to 40 aircraft demonstrates growing confidence in the MDA1 platform and its potential to transform regional aviation through zero-emission operations.
“The MDA1 eViator™ is a nine-passenger, all-electric regional aircraft with “zero-emission” propulsion, rapid battery exchange capability, short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance, and significantly reduced operating costs, according to the company.
