GAMA Aviation has just completed the construction of a helipad at its Sharjah airport FBO/business aviation hub in preparation for helicopter and eVTOL services.
The new installation is described as a “dedicated landside helipad, supporting an increased level of connectivity and future proofing for the uptick in VIP Heli operators and eVTOL,” by Tom Murphy, Managing Director FBO at the company’s UAE hub.
The Business Aviation Centre (BAC) at Sharjah Airport opened in February this year and offers a range of services from airside handling and passenger processing through to hangar support and day-to-day movements.
