Whisper Aero, in a Linkedin post, has announced the launch of its Collaborative Logistics Aircraft (or CLA for short) range of contested air logistics platforms. “These aircraft will leverage Whisper’s UltraQuiet™, ultra-efficient technology to fly critical payloads when it matters most, decoupling crews from deliveries and saving fuel for life-saving missions,” said the report. “Whisper has been selected for AFWERX STRATFI funding towards this effort to accelerate maturation of this capability.”
According to multiple press reports , the range comprises the Group 3 uncrewed CLA Light, with a 500 lb payload, and the Group 5 optionally piloted CLA Heavy, a nine-passenger aircraft able to carry 3,000 lb of cargo.
