Eve Air Mobility to test BETA Technologies’ motors

Eve Air Mobility plans to test its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft with motors supplied by BETA Technologies. This is in addition to Eve’s electric propulsion systems agreement with Nidec Aerospace, which has been in place since 2023.

Writing on LinkedIn, Eve said “BETA Technologies is now an additional partner in our development phase to explore the optimal propulsion technology for our eVTOL. BETA brings its expertise and flexibility for our electric propulsion systems, with over 70,000 equivalent flight hours since 2021.”
