EHang has announced in a Linkedin post that it has completed all the type certification tests for the autonomous EH216 eVTOL.
“We are thrilled to share that 100% of planned tests for EH216-S Type Certification have been completed,” said the company. “These include all of the planned tests and flights in the last phase of demonstration and verification of compliance and a “definitive TC flight test by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
“After finishing the remaining procedures, we expect to obtain TC from the CAAC soon,” said the company. “Thirty-one months unwavering efforts since the CAAC officially accepted the application, we are almost there!”
