
EHang is in the process of applying for certification of its VT35, a next-generation long-range lift-and-cruise pilotless eVTOL and upgraded version of the VT30, according to the company in a Linkedin post to coincide with the Third China Technology and Education in Civil Aviation event in Beijing in late May.
The CAAC has accepted its Type Certification application. EHang plans to unveil the VT35 in the third quarter of 2025, said the company.
Meanwhile, the EH216-S has achieved over 66,000 safe flights across 19 countries with zero accidents, said EHang at the show, “demonstrating its exceptional safety and commercial potential. The EH216-F is designed for high-rise fire rescue missions, offering fast response, high efficiency, and safe remote operation.”
